Voice Control Configuration

Antidote's Voice Control feature allows users to create and manage their own voice channels, providing functionalities like locking, hiding, member management, renaming, and whitelist control.

Required Permissions: To function correctly, Antidote requires the following permissions:

  • Manage Channels: To create and manage voice channels.

  • This module will be inactive if the server module is disabled in your dashboard. Ensure the server module is enabled.
  • Executing the !vc setup command will overwrite any existing Voice Control configurations.

Setup Methods

Using the !vc setup Command

To quickly set up Voice Control, execute the following command in a text channel:

!vc setup

This command will automatically create the following channel structure:

  • Antidote - Voice Control (Category)
    • #control-panel (Text Channel)
    • Join to create (Voice Channel)

Linking Pre-existing Channels

Alternatively, you can link Voice Control to your existing channel structure. This method allows you to utilize channels you have already created.

  1. Navigate to your dashboard.
  2. Select your server and go to Modules > Voice Control module > Setup.

Channel Configuration Details

  • Antidote - Voice Control (Category):

    • This category serves as the parent container for the #control-panel and Join to create channels.
    • It ensures these channels are grouped and easily managed within your server's channel hierarchy.
    • You can move or hide this category as needed.
  • #control-panel (Text Channel):

    • This channel provides users with an interface to manage their voice channels.
    • It also includes commands that simplify common management tasks.
  • Join to create (Voice Channel):

    • Users can join this channel to automatically create a new, personal voice channel.
    • This channel is linked to the #control-panel for seamless management.
